Hi All,

Selling a Stellarvue BV3 bino-viewer with a pair of 23mm 50 degree AFOV fully multicoated eyepieces. It's a nice unit with slef-centering eyepiece holders. There is also a short 1.6x barlow to bring the focus point closer for use with Newtonian telescopes. I used it with and without the barlow with my truss dob, but without the barlow I needed a shorter set of trusses.

here is a short review:

It works well however I found the following issues with it:
1) The grease in self-centering eyepiece holders leaks a little, no big issue and the grease does not touch the optical surfaces but you may need to wipe the eypiece barrel every now and again.
2) The self-centering holders are a nice feature but are a bit fiddly to converge the images. Once convergence is achieved it stays put.

Stellarvue no longer sells them, but an almost identical William Optics unit is being sold by Anderws for $299.

Comes in a foam-lined cardboard box. Asking $150 (postage in Australia included).

Contact via PM please.

Thanks,
Alex

I was out observing last night and did not check my email until now.

Not sure why the account did not work for you as I sent you the correct information, but no problem at all. I will sell it to the next person in the PM queue. There have been a few PMs and I will be contacting people in the chronological order.

Cheers,
Alex
