I think this is a duplicate of Brian_W's 'intriguiing possibilities' (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=72673) thread !!

Thanks David , very interesting, I hope it is a true finding ,but will probably be given the same treatment that the Nasa Mars rock was given a few years ago.

More than likely. It'll also be the same once they actually go to Mars and look for the fossil evidence themselves. They'll argue for years over the findings. Sometimes I wonder whether some scientists just argue because they like to hear the sounds of the voices, not because they want to add any constructive debate to the problems.

mmmmmmmmmmm.....................
I'd like to know what scientific tests were done to conclude that the meteorite had no earthly contaminants?

Whilst its his opinion that is driving the claims, (with only logic as the basis), Earthly contamination has not been dismissed at this stage.
That is, no-one has said that earthly contamination is not possible or, at least, within the realms of impossibility.

Extraordinary claims need even more extraordinary evidence!
