Hi,
I've decided to make an experiment withe the 18-200mm lens, even tho I suspected it would be severely affected by aberrations. The suspect turned out to be truth.

Here are 65 shots of 90 seconds each, at 200mm, f/5.6, ISO1600. it's a crop.

It's been calibrated with 80 darks, 40 offsets and 30 flats. Processed in Iris and Photoshop.

Not too bad:)

I'd be fairly happy with that:)

Thanks, considering the lousiness of the lens, how difficult it is to focus with it, and how polluted my sky is, I think it's a good result :)

Good start but the tracking may need a little bit of work.

Thanks Frank. Actually that's an unguided image, because my guider cam broke. That's why I used the short focal length and the short exposure time :)

I hope you get your guider cam fixed soon.
