Hi all

Got back in last night from a 6 day road trip with some mates to Queensland for a 50th birthday bash.

The party was great with a 60's theme and fancy dress, live band and all on a balcony overlooking the beach at the Kirra Surf club at Coolangatta.

It was great to go on a road trip on the bikes with the mates, it was something we haven't done together for nearly 10 years and just cruising up Hwy 1 was fantastic although the road works were a pain in some places.

Thankfully it wasn't as eventful as the "Wild Hogs" :rofl:but there were some good laughs and interesting sights along the way.

We have all made a promise to do it again next year for another mates 50th but stretch it out to 2 weeks and have a bigger ride

Now I have to wash and polish the poor old beast, she's covered in bugs and road dirt. That will take around two days to complete.

That sounds wonderful, Ric. Getting out on the roads and into the open is always a blast.

Starting to plan my next trip to NZ and/or Canada. : D

Canada sounds like an awesome place to visit, probably not in winter though from a motocycle riders perspective. :lol:
