I have been working this week to get familer with the use of the Alignmaster program. Having setup my EQ6 for use with the EQMOD program I have finally achieved the most perfect alignment that I have ever had. AZ error of 00' 01" Alt error of 00' 01.5" As a result with my finder guider working and PHD humming I had a satisfactory night that only bodes well for the future.
Here is a pic of Omega Centauri
Canon 1000D using my ED80 Triplet APO on the EQ6 Guided by PHD. 5 X 10 mins ISO 200 and 4 X 2 Mins ISO 200 for the core. Stacked with deepsky stacker and post processed in CS4
