I'm new here, my name is Oliver.
Plan on getting much more involved in astronomy and this seems like a great place for doing just that.

Hi Oliver,

This is the right place. I began a few years ago, and have gained just about all the knowledge and equipment I have, right here.

They are marvellous people, very involved and informed, with a thriving buy-n-sell section.

The only trouble might be that if you ask for an opinion, you get 10. All different !!

Hi Oliver. I have an opinion as well!. I think you are going to like your new hobby and will find this site a great place to lean and find out how to do things. Then you will become one of us and give your opinion on things LOL. :welcome:

:welcome: Oliver, I know your stay will be an enjoyable an educational one. Who else can we talk to about astronomy whenever we want without getting the roll of the eyeballs :rolleyes:. I have to limit myself for astro spoken word usage a day otherwise I just don't stop and my family's ears tune out.:rolleyes: Having used up my one ration so far, I've calculated I still have 10 hours left in the day with two more times I can talk something astronomy and get away it.:question:

And I have an opinion too.. :lol:
The people on this forum are amongst nicest & most helpful people on this planet. :)
