Blue Mountains- Katoomba Airfield March 5

Hi all,

Rod has Okayed another session up at Katoomba Airfield, for Saturday 5th of March.

Last month's session was a bit of "now you see me, now you don't". Hopefully the clouds will clear for a much needed photon fix.

I've posted a pic of last month's participants and their gear. A jolly lot they were too.

Hickny will MC this March's session. My turn to take leave for family reasons. I will keenly follow events unfold in this thread!

I shall try to make it to this one, though the mount needs a little TLC so I'll likely be without a scope.
Even so it would be nice to get a few wide view photos again.

Yes, other than bumping into you at Cebit a few years ago, it has been something like 8 years.. Far too long.

As for gear, it's relatively modest. A ED100, EQ6 and a few of the bits and pieces that belong. There is nothing overly exotic there, but enough to get started.

Oh, yeah, CeBit. I forgot about that! That was... 2005, I think. Yikes!

Might even just catch up next time I'm in Sydney.

The forecast for Katoomba at 4 pm for the next 12 hours is mostly cloudy. Looks like we stay put this Saturday.
