Very nice. Love the natural colour. It easy to over-precess the colour. Well done.
Cheers
Well done Asi, looks nice and natural.
Just want to ask you, how come you don't use more of the available frames that you captured, might bring out even more detail?
Good work mate.

Hey Asi, lovely stuff :) how do you get that 3D feel that your Saturn's always seem to have... wonder if it's a refractor thing. As Rocket Boy suggests wouldn't mind seeing what the result would be if you include say 600-1000 of the best frames.
cheers mate

Kearn. Yeah, I think it was rather smokey at the time.
Rocket dude. This AVI was shot in nasty seeing conditions (a lot of blurry frames) & also, clouds were obscuring the view 50% of the time. Rather than cut the AVI short I just kept shooting & just cut the bad frames out when it came to stacking, so really I only had 194 good frames to stack. I went threw each frame visually.
As I've mentioned before, seeing I have to eventually delete the AVI off the laptop due to insufficient space, I stack the lot first to see what I get. Then I will try stacking 50% of those, & so on.....until I arrive at the best image I can squeeze out of the AVI.
Thanks guys, comments appreciated! :)

Oh. Not sure Rob how I get those 3D shots!? :confuse3: Originally I started with the kodak easyshare & the 12.5" & I was getting the 3D look 50% of the time.....I think it has to do with processing with picture publisher #8...(a non-astro picture editing program).....I could be wrong though?
That makes sense now, thanks for the info John.

No worries Andrew.
ONE DAY I hope to actually get a good AVI & be able to stack the whole lot! ;)
With the seeing conditions here in SA it just doesn't seem possible! Maybe in the year 2009..
