Re Sky and Telescope Magazine

I am enquiring as to weather the 'Australian Sky and Telescope' magazine is a subscription only magazine,or it can still be purchased at news agents.I recently had a astro image published in the magazine.The publisher sent me a copy,but my family and work colleges wish to buy a copy,we have looked in all the local news agents within a 200 km radius of home,and none available.So it appears only subscription,if there is any way we can purchase copies let us know.

I use to subscribe to this magazine,but after 30 years of buying astronomy magazines,was getting too many!,so rarely buy them now.

You can buy it at newsagents. Even out little general store in Newstead has it. And well worth it just for your stunning picture!

Chris, See the Add on the RIGHT Hand side of the Screen re This months AS&T Your picture is in this months magazine.
It has been in the shops for about a fortnight, I picked up my copy last week:D
You will have to just find a news agent who sells it or it could have sold out already:shrug:

If your image is published, I thought you usually got a subscription as a reward. So you should get it?

Local newsagent here in Colac always has AS&T, Sky at night, Astronomy Now and Astronomy mags. Don't know who else but me buys them:screwy:
Mind you, when travelling last year in Qld and I knew a new edition of AS&T was due out, it was hard to find. Eventually found a newsagant with a copy in amongst the astrology mags:mad2:. In fact he had a section on his stand labelled "Science" and it was one copy of Scientific American and a bunch of creationist mags:confused2:.

Thanks for pointers fellow Icers.Ron-the link on this page does not work for me,yes-the good people at Sky and Tel did send me a copy,but a family member inter state wanted it,I did get a subscription for a few months.

I did have cartons of these magazines in a shed,but the floods damaged them,they went to tip,the better ones I sold.So I have no magazines here to get the phone number or email address.It does appear they are not available here in QLD via newsagent-Just my luck!,So if anyone could send the email address or phone number,that would be appreciated.C

The Magazine IS available in News Agents in Queensland. I picked up mine last week at the News Agent in Nambour Shopping Center
Just Google AS&T to get all the contact information:shrug::rolleyes:
