This telescope is around 18 Months old. I am selling because i want to buy a SCT telescope and start doing some astrophotography.

Specs are as follows:

Mirror Diameter: 300mm
Focal Length 1500mm
Weight of OTA: 21KG
Weigh of ground board: 18.5KG

AstroZap LightShroud.
Orion Cooling Fan Installed on primary mirror. (comes with battery pack)
Orion LaserMate Deluxe Collimator.

NO eyepieces included in this package.

This telescope also comes with an Argo Navis push to system.

Telescope Computer,Encoders, 12V DC Cord, Cord to connect Argo Navis to USB port to download latest software. CDrom with argo navis software including manual as a PDF file.

I cannot Post the Telescope as i have no boxes. Pickup Only, or arrange for own shipment. $1200!!! Cost me $2000 a year ago!! (Comes with a FREE 4.5 Inch Newtonian

This Telescope can be transported in a small car (Nissan Pulsar) tube in the boot and rocker box on the back seat.

Hi Mark

Is the Argo Navis and both encoders etc fully installed and operational, from the photos they seem to be seperate uninstalled bits..?

I have the exact same scope with the argo installed. the only encoder that stays attached is the one on the bottom the side one comes out when deconstructing the scope because of the way that the scope was engineered where its not sitting in a cradle, it has handles that screw into it for tension.

that is correct you screw in the alt encoder into the side of the rockerbox where the tension handle goes. Then you plug in the leads into the encoders then into the argo navis hand controller. It doesnt take very long to get the argo navis working like 5 mins at most.
