Hey here are some shots of the moon I took, with my LPI. Don't ask me what the crater names are (one thing I never did get into was the names of the craters), I just thought they looked OK and wanted to contribute.

Nice pics..do you have enough coverage to mosaic these..what a monster moon image that would make!!

Hi Paul,They are very nice shots with the lpi, I could never get a decent shot of the moon with my lpi so i sold it and will now get a webcam i guess, Keep up the good work.

The trick to the LPI is to use the centeroid function. I only just learned how to do this myself. I noticed that the first couple of shots make this look very blurred, then after ten you get great shots starting to clear. I found that after fifty or so shots you only get really narrow improvement.
Anyway I will try some more after the eclipse tonight. Which we don't see.
