Well it is complete for the moment.
Simple registax work and wavelets and a 1.5x mitchell resample.
Dedicated to what would have been Erwin's birthday!
The offer is still there for anyone wanting to play with the data!

That's very nice, Davo. I like your style of non-aggressive processing.

must have missed this one DP and what a Gem it is, brilliant shots with great banding detail in a stunning presentation - submit this to AST and S&S:)

thanks asi, if i was a dog, i'd bark - very happy with that one. lots of data there still to bring out. I will get those airbags away monday with one of the 10 runs i did..
Rob, I am proud enough of this one, that I have submitted it to AS&T. Have you submitted your mars sequence / collection photo???

A very impressive set of images Dave, and very nicely presented too! Great job - must have required a lot of work both outside on the 'scope and inside on the PC.
Cheers

thanks dennis, my skills are getting better to enable me to get quicker at setting up etc. It is now learning something that can't be rushed and that is getting a feel for when the seeing is going to be great so those skills can result in great images.
the great thing is that like last night, the seeing was only 4 or 5 when it came to image saturn, so i put the imaging equipment away and found my first planetary nebula.
The night still ended up being a great one regardless of the lack of imaging!!
