This telescope is from the estate of a Tasmanian observer.

As well as the scope (in good order), there are:

2x DMD-3 controllers (1 modified)
1x MD-6 controller
3x Motors to suit
Eyepieces:

40 mm
20 mm
12.5 mm
9 mm
5 mm

miscellaneous accessories

This is local (in Launceston) David. Best idea would be to email Tony direct about whether the eyepieces are genuine Vixen or not.

if i want to do dso imaging, i will need a heavy duty eq, no matter how fantastic the dob buggy is.

then i follow in your footsteps and get a sct!!!

not yet mick, i have the guys mobile, so i will ring this weekend and make a time to go and have a look. I will take some pics and post em to help get the gear sold.

The guy in charge of the sale on behalf of the estate was very appreciative of letting this go ahead given the situation. He want to pass on his thanks to all!

l think you will find it a little small for the 10" especially for photography, l bought Stu's LXD75 a couple of days ago, very similar mount but the scope and counterweights were to much for it, works really well with the 152mm refractor though(see pics in equipment thread).
