Great detail there Martin, especially when you consider the focal length you were imaging at.
Lovely.

Nice crop considering how far away it is in the uncropped version! Like the ED80 - good allround instrument! Nice one..

That's good for the focal length. I was looking at this a couple of days ago as a potential target for my FLT110 but decided it would be small. Maybe I'll have another look at it.

Considering the FOV of the original frame, the crop looks really good. You've certainly nailed that focus.
I liked the widefield view Martin.
It puts it into perspective floating out there in the universe.
Thank you :) next time it will be done with a longer focal lenght.
Thanks, the ED80 is one of a kind
Thank you and do have a go at anything that is small, you never know how it will turn out :)
:rofl:I have a bahtinov mask but the focus was a fluke this time because my electric focusser didn't work so i did a "she'll be right" by hand
Thank you
Yes it is fairly tiny floating there on it's own.

I too like the wide field image Marto, something about seeing this little flying saucer hanging in the vastness of space that reminds us of reallity.
Mike
Thank you Mike
It gives you some perspective of how big/small everything is :)
