SPX350 F32 11,200mm, PGRFlea3, Astrodon filters, IR742nm filter.

Had problems with laptop not starting twice then could not find a bright star to collimate with on the screen so wasted an hour. Saturn looked good and remained still for 3-4 secs with 10/10 seeing before it degraded to 8/10 seeing. Finally secondary mirror misted over so will use dew shield next time.

Some ring dust on left side again and a hint of Encke perhaps but not obvious.

I tried IR742nm with gamma at 1300 to show crepe ring and any dust in ring B, In processing it showed better banding. At F32 I think this is the longest FL I can go to with 23fps in Red and 10fps in Blue.

Had some mist during RGB and processed very quickly, storm was not there.

R RGB.
2 GIF animations first red channel second IR channel - 4 frames every 20mins between 2-3am EST.

Thanks, John.

Most excellent result there John.

Love your RGB, super detail and you have the tail of the storm extending from the Western limb at least 2/3 of the way across the planet. A super all round effort.

Thanks for comments, seeing has been variable but not too bad starting off good and deteriorating to avg.

Thanks Mark, I use the humble EQ6 to mount my 20kg 14" Newt with EQmod which gives excellent control, I just have to recentre Saturn every now and again with nice smooth controls Eqmod gives.

Appreciate kind comments, thanks - John.

Aah that's very nice, you've got the spokes visible again on the left. And there is definitely a glimpse of the Encke division, impressive!

Yeh top result there John, some amazing fine details visible for sure.

Those spokes seem to be a common feature these days..?
