Hi Phil,

Fabulous! Your right-hemisphere appears to be working overtime at the moment
and to great effect.

As you can see pretty simple setup. The best thing to do is get the flash off the camera. I also put cardboard on the side of the flash to direct light onto the smoke and not the background. Use a dark room and set a high F no: I used F11-16. Thats about it.
