Ah,the wonderful king of globs... a great effort there Chris.

I still get a buzz from It when looking through the eyepiece at a dark site!

Chris, drop the green down a touch mate.

Nice image there Chris.

Looks like it could do with a run on a plug in called HLVG, to remove that green tinge!

Apart from that, looks a treat.

Louie, Luis & Darren,
Thank you for your input.
I've tried a little adjustment and taken away a little green, HLVG sounds great but I do not have the luxury of Photoshop.

Nice detail in the glob. It looks like the camera is tilting in the focuser. Is the camera in an eyepiece holder? It may be leaning slightly and something to watch when you out the camera in that it is fixed square and very tightly. Screw on tube adapters are good this way as they don't allow the camera to sag. Some eyepiece holders are a little bit oversized and thus can allow some rocking.

Greg,

You're right about there being an off axis component. I think it is the focuser. I'll play around with it for a while and then build a decent Crayford focuser and re-align the whole thing. ( I had to offset thIs focuser's tube as the bearings were not exactly parallel to the axis)

Thanks.
