AP with a goto Dob

Now I know it's far from ideal but has anyone ever tried and prepared to show their results on here.


It's amazing how people can push their kit to the limit so I would love to see if anyone has at least had a go

Terry (cometguy) took some nice pics of orion with his DMK on his 12" skywatcher goto dob, real short exposures tho, no longer than 10 seconds i think haha, and just stack the crap out of it :P

well thats what im thinking. If the tracking is accurate enough and the exposures short but plenty, you should be able to get some detail on DSO's

I also wonder what it would be like using a HD Video enabled DSLR ?

There are a few that use DSLR video to image planets, I only have a 450D so mine is not HD but not bad the same.
