Greetings from Tucson, Arizona.
This looks like my last image of Jupiter for the season. It was 55 degress, cloudless, 3/5 seeing and before moonrise.
But, here comes Saturn.
This is my first post. I started imaging with the DMK 6 months ago.
f/30, 1/15, 15fps, 35sec per filter with IC Capture
900 frames, Registax5, Photoshop CS5

Great colours in your image Paul - looks like a beautiful floating marble in space.
Cheers,

:welcome:Welcome Paul,
The DMK is a most competent camera for planetary imaging and it seems you are doing well with it.
Good luck with it.
Regards
Trevor
PS; just noticed that you are only taking 35 sec's per channel. With Jupiter you have 3 min's from the start of the R channel to the end of the B channel to capture your data and still get hi res detail.
Nice for a low object well done

Thank you for the kind words.
That evening was hectic. Temp dropped fast, 70s to 50s in an hour or so. IC Capture wouldn't work at 30fsp. I forgot to change the capture time when I went to 15fps. The gamma was probably set too high. And my Nautilus filter wheel driver wouldn't load. Whew.
It was much easier back in September.
