Lead article on SMH website atm, with video footage taken from multiple camera's / angles

article link (http://www.smh.com.au/technology/sci-tech/ufo-hovers-over-jerusalem-20110204-1ag41.html)

Nothing I can think of explains the extreme acceleration of the object at the end of the clip.

Interesting!

It does take off fast.

I like this comment from the southern USA lady:
'wa ar saw some in Mississippi but not as brart as thees wurn'

She talks as if it is an everyday occurance!

1. Organize a bunch of your buddies to shoot video of the same scene at the same time from different angles.

2. Take all of these videos and manipulate them in a video editing application.

3. Slowly trickle them out to the world as proof of a visit by ETs.

4. Profit.

Hologram ?
Have to be pretty powerful lasers to make an image of that apparent size, though.

Explains the speed at the end, though.

Cheers

just google jerusalem ufo hoax. there's a vid on youtube explaining how its a hoax. didnt think much of it till it all made sense.

especially the fact that none of the lights in the video flicker or move cause its a picture, then the lcd pixels and so on.
interesting effort, looked very convincing.

was hoping it'd be real, but guess that'll have to be another time.

I think she was talking about ball lightning or swamp gas.
I thought ball lightning when I first saw it.
Seen some good explanations on how it may have been hoaxed on Youtube.

Glad it's a hoax, scared me for a moment I thought they were coming to get Prophet Zecharia's body that they think they might of found the burial site of.

Hi All,

Considering the size of the alleged ship, they must be very tiny aliens. Compare the size of the so-called "UFO" to many of the lights in the background and the foreground -- it is hardly much bigger.

At least one of the videos is shot by a proven UFO hoaxer: Michael Cohen. You can read some of his interesting views here:

Fake !

Here's a link that de-bunks it:

Thanks Les,

It is good to know that in todays age where you can add some pretty realistic effects to video with software, there are also some ingenious ways to debunk it was well with software!
