Hi All,
Had a clear night here last night, so tested the "Antares" adaptor using the Meade F-6.3 Focal reducer (made for SCTs) seems to work O.K. with some considerable light gain (increased nebulosity visible around M42/43) and id say about 75% greater FOV, both Pix were 4 x 6 Min. Exp. at ISO-800 DF removed, Canon EOS300D Modded, ED80 Scope- guided.

cheers.......Jim

Nice stuff. Both versions are nice. Must do some more with M42 myself. Thanks for sharing.

Hi All,
Thanks for the comments, I hadent done any colour/contrast work on these Pix. just the minimum processing to show what the reducer does, but thanks for the enhancement, it does have appeal, ill post a comparison of M42 Pix. taken before/after the Canon Filter Removal Mod. also.

cheers.......Jim

They're lovely Jim, I like how the reducer has done it's job.
