inside the doghouse it is currently 39degrees - outside the doghouse its 39 degrees the camera is only cooling to 19degrees - the dogtrack is on, the neighbours are in their yard with the floodlights on and despite it being a clear night , don't shoot me, but i think i hear the AC inside calling me.......Some nights are best left well alone:sadeyes:
i might add that it has cooled from the 41degrees we had a few hours ago:rofl:
might be time to Sidonio something;)

Hi Dave I hope the States partly privatised power generators can keep up with the demand for All those Air Conditioners working over time :eyepop:

Sorry, no sympathy from me - I had three days of 40C last Thur-Sat followed by Sunday with 39C and 60% humidity. Not very pleasant, and no aircon here for relief. And that was out 7th heatwave for the summer, we started early right at the start of November with the 40C days. We've been baking here for months while the rest of you have been getting wet.

Not alot better here in Adelaide. Been working in my shed (office) today with temps in the shed of 45C. Kept going outside to spray myself with water, then back into the shed to work again.. Now it's cooled down and dark is setting in. Thought I would get the scope out and frustrate myself trying to learn drift aligning (having troubles with it).. But wait do I see clouds? Hmmm Did I tell you the when I grew up their were 14 of us living in a shoe box in the middle of the motorway? :-)
That's Astronomy in Australia, Another Air conditioner just switched on!

Lucky you when I was 14 we couldn't afford a shoe box to live in. We lived in the pothole in the road ;)

So it was cool here today?
It only got up to 44.2C with 15% humidity outside.
It's nearly 23:00 and is down to a mere 31C and 40% humidity.
Think the A/C might stay on all night.
Bugger, I'm heading West in about 10 days, maybe i should stay here a bit longer.

And the only chance to get soaking rain, gave up at the finish line. ie: TC Bianca.
Not saying that i want a TC but some of the rain would have cooled it down a bit, and the fruit trees would have loved it!!!

I totally agree, Ben, I felt ripped off by all that heat and humidity build up from Bianca and no rain or wind at the end. Still, got to grateful nothing got damaged here.
 Love it! I find myself thinking the same way at times..."now why isn't this trip longer so I can stay in the aircon for a bit more..."

We had to leave some out

This heat is ridiculous!
