Looking for a Coronado BF10 blocking filter.
Let me know if you have one.
Thanks.

Cheers.

I assume you want to use this on a PST mod?
Just a note of caution...I just tested a "early model IoM" Coronado blocking filter which worked 100% on the objective Ha filters ie SM40/ SM60 but DIDN'T work with the PST etalon.... the bandwidth and finesse appears to be just that little bit different. I believe Al has had success with a Lunt blocking filter....

Thanks Ken.
You are correct - it is for my PST mod.
Is it only early models that have a problem?
What if I buy a new one?
Lunt B1200 was my first choice, but can't find it anywhere - either on back order or they don't ship to Australia.
Also read few stories of people doing PST mod with Lunt not working...
Not sure what to get now...:confused2:

I use the latest Coronado BF10 and BF15 successfully on my PST mods.
I haven't heard of any problems with the Lunt 1200 blocking filter on the PST so if you have any links to this problem I'd love to have them ( it would add useful material for the PST mod write-up - available on request)
