Interesting Cloud!!!
Should do some Time Lapse on some of these to see what they turn into etc, and keep the best in a collection on file. :camera:

Excellent, Colin

Yeah it's weird some of the shapes clouds make. If only we had a camera at the time

I captured a beauty a few weeks back at a Glider flying day at Ballarat Airport.
A question mark.

I'll see if I can find it.

What's worse? That they actually exist or that there is 24,850 registered "cloudspotters" on this site! :eyepop:

I can appreciate the beauty of clouds but these guys take it to a whole new level!

Fancy an audio CD featuring 70 minutes of recorded rain?

I'll be selling my new audio CD soon titled "Gears, HEQ5 Gears". Relax on those cloudy nights to the soothing sound of my HEQ5 tracking the celestrial delights.

Sorry couldn't help myself.

:D I've got a few in there somewhere.
I've been a member for a few years now. LOL What else can an astronomer do when it's cloudy?

Blimey, 70 minutes of recorded rain.

Just what everyone on the east coast of Oz want's to hear right now.

The clouds look great though, love that question mark.

Cheers

Spotting clouds is really easy. It's spotting the clear skies with good stability and transparency that is difficult. Perhaps we can get into a symbiotic relationship with them. We'll tell them where the clouds are if they find us some clear skies. In fact, if we get members to tell us what new gear they are purchasing we can even tell them where the clouds will be and, by looking at the price, for how long.

how about this one - not so much a cloud - but an absence of cloud....

Those damn UFO's covered by a cloud or invisibility cloak, and look at the odd shapes only an alien would design a ship shaped like a question mark???
