With all the rain and then the floods here in Victoria, this has to be seen to be believed.
On Australia Day 2011 I went for a drive out to Toolondo, 30 miles away from Horsham. Remember the Horsham flood on the news?
Picture 1. Shows how much water the Toolondo Reservoir should hold when full.
Picture 2. Shows an almost empty lake.
Picture 3. Shows another angle of the lake. The gravel road to the right of the picture is the bottom section of the boat ramp. It drops off fairly steeply from the tree back that is hard to show in the picture.
Picture 4. Shows the upper section of the boat ramp. When the lake is full, the water is about level with the signs.
