SPX350 F31.5, Flea3, 5xPowermate, Astrodon filters.

Nice and clear with some mist before midnight which cleared, collimated on Spica as usual and used a slightly longer fl at 11,035mm but only managed an hour before cloud rolled in. Seeing was so promising with hardly any Spica twinkling with Saturn at 40 deg alt and seeing at 8/10 looking like a great night with Saturn just vibrating in focus for few seconds at a time.

Managed only 3 red channels 20min spacing and seem to get same shadows in the rings on the left much clearer with 20mins spacing. Only managed 2 rgb's but storm showed quite a bit of detail.

Experimented with gamma which I don't normally like but it does enhance the Crepe ring somewhat and the IR looked better with stronger banding visible with a light spot on the pole, the second IR without gamma had similar light spot?

Image1 - r rgb.
Image3 - ir 742nm with gamma 1300.
Image3 - Gif 3 red channels forward and back.

It was so hot last night sweat was pooring of my face and felt quite sick, this is my first summer in Oz and its not even hot.

Got 5 clear nights in a row with Saturn and now there are 2 Cyclones bearing down on QLD - Oh dear!!!

Thanks, John.

Super work there John, your on a roll for sure.

Excellent detail in the storm, was out myself this morning from 17:02 through to 19:27 UTC, that would be Jan 27th, but with quite variable seeing.

Cyclones you say, hope you can peg the scope down pretty very well.

Look forward to seeing more of your most excellent work.
Regards
Trevor

Lovely John, more spokes by the looks. Well done.

Not sure about the colour though. I have noticed that a lot of guys are producing bluer images this season.

Come down here mate for the heat. Gonna be 39 today. Tomorrow 40 something.
