Hi All,

I ran into this article via Phil Plait's Bad Astronomy blog.

http://www.thechicagodope.com/2011/01/22/amateur-astrologer-discovers-new-constellation/

Yes of course it is a leg-pull but, it is equally one of the most wonderfully cynical and witty commentaries on astrology I've ever read. An entertaining read.

Best,

Les D

What a funny read :D

"Professional astrologers complain that government and university-supported astrologers are too underfunded and overwhelmed to keep track of the influence of all the celestial bodies"

LOL! Which university is that? Can you get degree's from them in a ceral box? That being said. If I could charge $5-$10 per minute for my services, I wouldnt be underfunded

Would love to send the article to some local media and see how many of them would print it.

That is very funny, Les.

Given I was born in mid December, when people ask me what my star sign is, I always reply, "Ophiuchus". It usually leads to an interesting conversation around the claims of astrology.

Well done Rod, glad there are "Ophiachuns" out there spreading the word.
Very and well found Les, thought this one was kinda funny too!
