Every man needs a shed...

For an Astro-photographer like me to be able to image IC434 carries similar weight.

I'm presenting my version of it. This is 6x10min RGB + 60min of artificial Luminance.
Image was taken with the 8"LX200+QSIws583 on EQ6 mount during my stay at Ilford last December.

Thank you for looking :)

Thank you Mighty_oz, thank you Darren for sharing your thoughts. It is gratifying to see a positive comment. The whole think it is a work in progress from capturing to stacking and processing. I do realize how much more I need to learn, but I’m happy with my work and how I was able to present it. I'm glad you guys perceive it in the same way

With deep appreciation

Mark

Nice colour here and good detail for limited exposures, what is artificial luminance

This turned out really nice Mark.
Rich deep colours and stars look really nice.
Just one critique, a few of the stars to the left of the HH show where you've masked them to work on the other areas... the darkish halos. Sort this out and this will be spot on.
