Finally managed to get the dome control working nicely on the Tempest Observatory and so I thought that I would christen it with a new image. The Tarantula was up and so I managed to get 10x5min Luminance and 5x5 min RGB (binned 2x2) for this shot with the 10"SCT F6.3 reducer and QSI583wsg camera. Processed in PS3 trying not to over-process it too much.
The moon was coming up and so that curtailed somewhat the number of subs.
Comments welcomed.

Looks very good Allan. You really get a good sense of that spider, the head, eyes and those legs spread out.

Very nice picture considering the total integration time. Very good details.

Some great details in there Allan, lots of wisps and it looks nice and spooky like a Tarantula should :scared:
Are we looking at moon induced colour gradients there?

Once again you spotted it Mike. I'm going to have to pass them to you before I post in the future.
I was just happy to have some time in the observatory after all this rain.

Allan, I really really like it.
The dust ring surrounding 2070 is very easy to see in your image
Nice work.

Thanks Ken, Craig and Mark
I tried to present it without too much processing but in truth who knows what it really looks like.
