I was going through some old photos of Mum's and came across this folded up amongst them.
I'll take some close ups of the text tomorrow when there is better light.
But I was really excited to find this. :)
I think I'll get it laminated, it will look great up on the wall.
What a great find!
I look forward to reading it when you post the high res scans
Wow JJJ! That's fantastic. :D

Good to see nothing has changed since 1969, the banks are still trying to rip you off and the television companies are too!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Great find!!!!!
expecting something similar when we go through mum and dads house.
I know she has the front page of the West Australian News paper when Charles and Di got married and when Di died.
Wonder why she didnt keep the one of when Charles married Camilla?????;)

That is a fantastic find jj!!!
I see it not so much as a historic document of spaceflight but as a fantastic memory of our lifetime.
A gem for sure :)
I hope you are going to frame it.

:P
Age cannot wither her, nor custom stale
Her infinite variety: other women cloy
The appetites they feed: but she makes hungry
Where most she satisfies; for vilest things
Become themselves in her: that the holy priests
Bless her when she is riggish.

Nice. But it doesn't have any reference to me breaking my nose for the first time.
While waiting for the Astronauts to emerge, I went to play in my uncle's garden.
I fell out of a tree and busted my shnoz.
Surely this made the papers here?! :)

Gold !!!!
You know what JJJ ... I remember reading that exact article. We lived at Eagle Junction in Brisbane, I was 11 and like a lot people, waited with great anticipation for man to land on the moon. Little did we all know ... just how much a fine line the moon landers were treading.
Wow, a great piece of memorabillia to be sure.
Would love to have read too. :)
Nice find JJJ  I bought an old astronomy book from a second hand book shop a while back and it had an old paper cutting about halleys comet in it (no date on clipping though) i must scan that and post it see if we can work out where and when it was in the paper ;)
