Hi guys,

I will be presenting my talk on meteorites at the next Astronomy Benalla meeting, in Benalla, Wednesday February 16. I will have various examples of all types of meteorites and impact material, including my 11kg iron meteorite from Argentina. There will also be a number of "surprise" samples that will amaze you! I highly recommend bringing along your camera. I have made a few small additions and modifications to my talk since I last presented it in Bendigo last year, I have also given a similar talk as ASV, MPAS and ASSA.

Peter Lowe, president of MPAS, will also be there to give a rundown on the upcoming VASTROC which is hosted by the society. So if you live in the area, please come along.

Even got a small article in the Benalla Ensign! So does that make me famous now?

Tonight is the night! I was on the ABC breakfast show from Shepparton for 10 minutes promoting my talk, also in the local paper a couple of weeks ago. We hope to have a good turnout tonight. I am leaving Melbourne this afternoon for the drive up, I hope the rain is not too bad :(.

We had a fantastic turnout for my talk. They were hoping to get at least 20 people and ended up with 50! The kids were really amazed at my dinosaur teeth and lunar and martian meteorites. Let you know when I have another talk scheduled.
