taken a long while i finally got around to processing the shots i had - just on 10hours worth taken canon40D (cooled ) and 127ED slighly cropped due to bad planning LOL (overlapping shots).
its longing for a repro but its the first for a while

Yes the first one is a bit washed out compared to the second one but the second one is really red and lost some fluffy bits...
Yes maybe a combination?
Not that I know how to do this hehehhe myself....

Houghy, I actually liked your first one better, just would have reduced the green channel a bit and done a layer mask to bring a bit of red into the nebula itself.:thumbsup:
