Hello!:)

I have been reticent to post this one as it is not my best work(LOL, not that it is great anyway:lol:), however, I could not resist after seeing all the other Rosette shots.

I am happy enough with it considering the conditions, however, I still managed to muck up the star layer. I just haven't had the time to go back and redo it.:(

Any way, 3.7 hours, Megerz 110, EQ6, QHY9 mono, LRGB of 90, 45, 45, 45.

Thanks for looking!:thanx:

Looks great to me. :)

How have you mucked up the star layer?

The fine detail in the nebula is very nice

at least your field of view almost got the whole object! probably longer would have helped - slight signal noise but i like it! if we all put them together we would have a lovely bunch of roses.......

Thank you, Ken. I burnt out a few of the stars and blurred them a bit too much so they are not as definite in shape as I would like them.

Thank you David, you are too kind!:thanx:

Hi Marc, thanks! Colour came easy this time as I changed the way I gathered my RGB.:)

Hello Houghy.:hi: I totally agree about the field of view and the noise etc. Would be a nice bunch of roses, too.

I did not have any attention on the stars. Generally, I feel stars look best with their natural slightly soft blurry edge. A hard edge to a star looks unnatural as optics don't present them that way.

Its quite a pleasing image.

Greg.
