Selling my 100mm binos which are a no-name version of the Oberwerk's BT100/45s.
Package includes:
100mm aperture F600 f6 SW100/Q45-S binos with 45° viewing angle prisms.
Two Bintel 25mm Plossls (eyepieces are 1.25", interchangeable).
Fork mount.
Very solid wooden tripod.
Sturdy aluminium case.
All in excellent condition except for a few
small scratches on the OTA near the mount arms.
No collimation issues I can see.
I bought these off a fellow IIS member about two years ago.
I was never really happy with the astro performance of these.
They have a bit of astigmatism across the field. Views of the planets are not so good.
However I have been using these with 24 Panoptics
and the 2.7° true field view is still impressive.
Views of the moon are good too.
They perform surprisingly well as "high power" terrestrial binoculars.
The comfortable 45° angle viewing combined with the rock solid tripod work great.
Daytime sharpness is very good. If you have a room with a view these could get a lot of use.
Andrews is selling his version of these for $2399.

Considering their astro performance I am asking $850.
Prefer local pick up (Dee Why, 2099).
