The mount and scope were bought less than 16 months ago with the intention to pursue astrophotography. Unfortunately, due to a few factors (including the need to raise some cash!:P), that ambition has fallen by the wayside.

Losmandy G11 Gemini: $4000 pick up Sold
Includes the standard equatorial mount, tripod legs and centre column, leg clamps, counterweight shaft and 21 pound weight.

As you can see in the photo below, there is 2 computer boards, 2 lots of servo motors and 2 hand controllers.

Extras included are an 11 pound counterweight and a 12V regulated power supply.

Meade 12" LX200-ACF OTA with UHTC: $2700 pick up now $2400

The OTA plus the losmandy dovetail plate attached.

North and a little west of Newcastle (http://maps.google.com.au/maps?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&channel=s&hl=en&biw=1505&bih=793&q=Raymond+Terrace+NSW&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=Raymond+Terrace+New+South+Wal es&gl=au&ei=CcI_TZuXGsmPcbzrgeYB&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CBgQ8gEwAA), used to be on the Pacific hwy out of Newcastle..now bypassed.

Also the place a lot of RAAFie's from Willytown are.

Yes great buy for anyone in the market for a new Meade 12" OTA - ACF too!

Would have been tempted too but I have a new C11 OTA and trimmings.

Ian, do you have any examples of images taken through the scope?

Hi Paul, unfortunately no images have been taken through the scope, so I can't provide any examples. I'd be happy for you to give it a test drive if you happen to be down my way in the near future.
Cheers, Ian. :)
