This is done with the QHY9M.
RGB each 5X200 Seconds.
Luminance 8X600 Seconds.
Telescope: ED80 with 0.85 reducer/flattner.
Had to crop the picture because the reducer sat croocked in the focusser :mad2:

Very nice Martin. Nice wide field and the central area especially is full of good detail.

A nice image despite your trouble with the reducer.
That's the problem with the eyepiece holder type adapters, they sometimes sag and don't sit straight. I used to push them up whilst tightening as one way to reducer that. Ideally you have solid screw on type adapters but then they cost more.
Greg.
Thank you Trevor :)
Thanks Paul :D
Thank you Greg
It is not the adapter but the two screws that hold the camera assembly in the focuser :)
Also sometimes they tighten right on the step of the focal reducer (it is a WO reducer/flattner).
I wish i could just screw the whole assembly on the scope so it would be rigidly connected.
Could go for a moonlight focusser but i am saving for a G11 at the moment.

WOW Martin!
You have certainly come a long way, you should be very pleased with this image.
Well done and keep up the great work.

Nice one Martin. You can see the focus shift from left to right. Your stars need some work also, they are oversaturated to the point of being bright and white. Shorter star subs would fix that.
Well done Marty.
Thank you Mark :hi:
I am not that pleased with it because of croocked sitting reducer/flattner in the focusser :(
Thank you Dougie :D
It looks like i have to put a ring around the flattner/reducer that will go flush against the focusser or i have to make something so i can screw the assembly straight onto the focusser.
Or the ultimate, get rid of that crummy focusser and get a good one (but that will mean that i won't get a G11 soon :( ).

Martin,
That's a wonderful image; great image scale, too.
Softer stars would be a nice touch, but, otherwise, like it a lot.
Well done.
H
Thank you Humayun :)
The stars must be my processing, i am still fairly bad at processing :(

Looks great. On axis details is real good. Awesome colors. I think you got a tiny bit of field rotation on the outskirt. Nothing major though. Nice processing too.

Nice work Martin, well done, apart from the minor problems the image (as others had stated) it still looks a great image. Will you be going to SV in March?
