Flame and Horsehead in Ha (first Ha image)

Over the last couple of nights I have captured my first lot of Ha data. This image is the result of 2 hours of 40 minutes of data (8 x 20 minutes). I had hoped it wouldn't be so noisy. The second image is a full scale crop showing the noise. Is this normal?

For only 8 subs, it looks good, if you increase that number you will notice a difference. Was this with the QHY9? What Ha filter did you use and what scope?

Pretty good actually

It was with the FLT110, QHY9 and a Baader Ha filter.

After posting I thought I might up the gain on the camera a little. I am using 15% and I might experiment a bit to see if there is much of a change.
