Meade LXD-75 Mount

For Sale here is one Meade LXD 75 mount and associated equipment (tripod, autostar, counterweights, manuals etc).

It is still housed in it's original meade box for transport, which can be arranged (at your cost) or inspected/picked up in Springvale VIC.

Mount has some light markings consistent with use and wear, but is in generally VGC (pics to come). One of the counterweights is missing the lock screw which locks it to the shaft, I've not found this a limitation - simply using the screw on the second weight positioned lower to support both weights. I'm sure it could be replaced quite inexpensively ..

Asking price is $650.

I broke one of the screws out of one of my weights and found the centre bolt out of an appropriate size "dynabolt" fits perfectly: also it is galvanised. Put a right angle in it for ease of grip for tightening

Thanks for the advise - I'll check out a few of the dynabolts in my bits cupboard!
