First, I'd like to thank and congratulate John, again, for posting his awesome Everest thread. John, your post inspired me to go through my back catalogue, get my butt into gear, and process some old images.

Here's one.

Blinded by a light
My soul is held up in glory
I engulf the skies
The apostle in triumph

Love this and all photo's like it makes me wish I had the physical ability to do this stuff but these days 3 stairs are frightning as I have trouble not falling off even this short height.

Don't get me wrong I still push the envelope but I do it playing WheelChair Basketball. And recently trying to get better photo's and thinking I shouldn't have come up here how am I going to get down again without killing my self:rofl:

It's a black and white image with a blue tint applied to it. It just worked. : )

H, this is a wonderful photo that I could stare at for ages. It is pristine and so natural.

Then later on ...



Wow! Must admit after reading that, you had me looking even more. You must be proud of that!

My eye does however want to see a little more sky above Mt Cook to showcase it.

Indeed, I was very happy with the fact that the tint just worked. The print of this looks pretty special, too, by the way.

I have some more renditions from a similar vantage point which may address the issue of headspace above the mountain. Will get to them in due course.
