hello members
is there a difference between a telescope aftermarket gps and your normal car one?
can we use a car one on a telescope?

I use my Garmin all the time.
The only difference between it and the built in GPS on my Mini Tower, is that I have to manually put in the co ordinates.

No, you need to access the set up menu of the hand controller, and manually put in the co ordinates.

sorry jjj forget the last one i did not see your second reply
anyhow if that is the case why would a gps be of any benefit? what is it for if you can just put the coordinates into the hand controller anyhow?

Its personal choice I guess.
Doesn't matter to me either way, my GPS is always in my car.
