Pony club 8th Jan.

Hey there pc peoples. Is anyone interested in going to the pc again this weekend of the 8th. I know a lot of you are headed to bretti, But unfortunatly carly and i cant make it there this weekend. We are keen for another pony club meet thou if anyone else is interested in going up?

Just let us know please.

Oh and of course we will need someone with a key.

Does not look I will make Bretti so the PC on the 8th is good for me.
Weather looks ok but the clear sky window seems a bit narrow so it could change.

I do not have a key though.

I could be tempted again. Moonset is at 10.16pm, not long after astronomical sunset, so we would have a good night ahead of us of dark skies, assuming the weather co-operates.

I have one constraint at this stage: I have arranged for a friend to borrow my trailer next week for their holiday, so I will have great difficulty transporting my ladder and truss poles (doh!!).

Will see what I can do....

The cloud cover and forecast put me off guys, I hope that I was the sacrificial lamb which brought clear skies!! Hope to see you all next month.

6 intrepid souls made the journey to the PC last nite and were rewarded with a glorious hours viewing around 10pm
no trouble seeing six in the trap in the 8"
the same result from Carly's nice new bright and shiny 8" dob as well

unfortunately, 7timers prediction for the nite was far from accurate

closed the gate at midnite under full cloud and a fine misty rain.

Note to all: You will see my post at about 9.30pm on the said night, indicating I was the sacrificial lamb.....note how things mysteriously cleared for some glorious viewing for an hour at 10pm....now we all know who to thank....:P
