Thought I'd give the moon a shot. Prime focus 550D on C8/Eq6 Pro
Mosaic of two images, each 30 subs and 30 darks, 1/400th sec @ ISO 800.
These were taken at the end of my polar alignment procedure for the M42 image of the same night so the sky was not very dark.
Processed with Maxim DL Pro and PS CS5.
