This reminded me of a photo of me and my sister at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary formally Currumbin Bird Sanctuary. I can still remember having this photo taken as the bird was really hurting my hand and it stuck in my mind:thumbsup::D That is a wonderful photo.

400 mm, nice and sharp. They are very willing and friendly subjects. The few here in Geelong are usually high in the trees and difficult to see.
Here's a very poor example.
I remember Crimson Rosella's almost in your hair at some of the national park camping grounds. But the one I remember most is the Kookaburra that stole a sausage of the BBQ while it was cooking.

When we first arrived in Brisbane I remember being mobbed by these birds after feeding them honey bread, they would come in the house and climb up your leg - trouble is they poo everywhere. They are colourful but noisy and the way they squabble is hillarious.

That would make a lovely card or jigsaw puzzle.
Nice work Chris.
