Hi everyone,
I bought the 127mm ED Triplet Apo from http://www.telescopes-astronomy.com.au/hioptic-pricelist-telescope-astronomy-refractor.htm

The scope is about 6 weeks old. It has a perfect star-test (IMHO). :D

My new circumstances dictate to change my plan. :screwy:
So I like to trade-in for a go-to SCT. Preferably a CPC, but I would consider a LX200 if the optic is "reasonable"

I have limited amount of cash + the refractor, pending of the value difference and negotiation.
If the scope is big (CPC1100 or LX200 12" ), and there is a need for it,
I could include a Losmandy G11/Digital-Drive to mach the value difference.

I would prefer local deal (Adelaide), so the telescopes can be tested.
I know this is a long-shot, but PM me if anyone interested.

Cheers,
Mick.

Hi Colin,
perhaps, but I like to wait a bit.
I bought it for $2060. I know this is much higher than the Chinese direct import, however if the lens is not well corrected the local dealer would have helped me out instead of me post it back to China.
The optics on this (IMHO) is perfect.

Best Regards,
Mick.

Well, I new it's a long-shot so let me widen the options.

I happy to swap for a large dob or sale it for $1700.
Prefer local.

Mick.

Ohhhh...!!!! Miki.....If only you had been sooner....I just committed myself elsewhere on Monday....a brand new LX90 with GPS etc.
Can't cancel .... it's on it's way......
Never mind....Best of Luck....Price should attract someone...!!!.

Its a shame your all the way down there in SA. I rarely use my dob anymore and could always use another refractor.
