I know they're fairly common these days, but they always look great.
There's a video on spaceweather this morning, taken with an 8" scope.

We have had several attempts to track with the LX-90, a difficult task !
My best view was hand tracking with my 10" Dob.

That's only the second capture I have seen, the first had a barely discernable shape, the detail there is quite good. I must have a go with the LX, theoretically it is supposed to track the ISS if the current orbital elements data is downloaded from meade.
thats a great pic!!! wish i could track it! :)

The trick to tracking with the LX-90 is setting the initial position for the scope to pick up the ISS as it rises above the horizon, at a point where you can easily see it Through the eyepiece) before you hit the enter key on the Autostar to begin tracking.
