The last sliver of light casts three crepuscular rays (two on the left, and, one on the right) as Sol disappears behind the Brindabella's in a blaze of glory.

Apart from slight contrast adjustment and RAW sharpening, image is directly out of camera.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM

Jeanette,

Thanks, mwah! :)

Ron,

I have a feeling it's a bit hot, actually. :P Cheers!

Shane,

I wanted to include plasma in the title but thought plasmic worked better. Really lovely colours, that's for sure. Sunsets like that are quite rare here.

David,

I might just make a print. Say, 24" wide should be sufficient. :D

Mike,

Thanks for looking and commenting. :)

Cheers, all.
