I have a Meade 12in LX200GPS with UHTC in very good condition that I am looking to sell urgently. It is a regretful sale for financial reasons. All queries will be replied to promptly.
I bought this scope in late Feb 2010 from a fellow IISer in Brisbane and the scope is about 6 years old. It was serviced by Bintel in March 2009 according to him. I recently took the scope to a dark sky for viewing and it performed superbly.
The easiest way to view the scope details plus photos is to look at the previous owner's 'for sale' advert from here on IIS (the link is below). You will see a couple of posts from me enquiring about it. The photos below are what I took of the scope on my front porch.

I am willing to split components ONLY if a buyer can be found for the OTA/fork assembly. NOTE: The wedge was sold when the person originally interested in buying the scope said he didn't want them.
The whole package is:
$4200 plus shipping
(less if some of the accessories aren't needed AND no-one else wants the whole package)
The only remaining unsold accessories I've added are:
-Kendrik 9.25in Bahtinov mask
-Kendrik Kwik Focus OTA cover
Original scope details when I bought it:
-12" Meade LX200GPS with UHTC (Ultra-High Transmission Coating)
-Autostar II GOTO System which has been upgraded to 4.2G
-Meade Giant Field Tripod
-Meade 7x50 finderscope
-Meade 26mm Plossl
-Meade 2" diagonal with 1.25" adapter
-Meade Electronic MicroFocusser
-Rear counter weight behind focus unit
-Dew Zapper 12v heater
-Peterson Engineering EZ Clutch Kit
-Astrozap Flexible dew shield
-Peterson Engineering EZ Focus Kit
-Losmandy Dovetail for mounting refractors
-Meade balance weight set & extra weight.
-240v – 12v power supply
-Heavy duty scope trolley with leveling screws.
-Meade Instruction Manual
-Starlight Express MX5-c CCD Camera, power supply, cables, instructions and software.
-original shipping boxes
-but NO wedge now...
I live in Adelaide so inspections are welcome and also phone calls (PM for my mobile number). If sending interstate I'd recommend e-go, but ask me for details first because after I spoke to them via email when I first bought it, it should cost between $150-$250 to send to eastern states, not over $400 via a quote on their website.
Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Wayne
