Hi all,

Here's the first few images taken using my new 70-200 telephoto, which arrived yesterday! Nothing too fancy here, but from what I've seen so far it looks like a great lens. I'm hoping to get a few eclipse photos this evening (provided the clouds stay away...)

Superb lens Stephen. The detail and sharpness is stunning. Are they tripod shots?

Yes, it does look like a great lens, although I haven't really tested it properly yet. Good value at the moment as well - I picked it up for less than $800 this week. These shots were all hand held, but the eclipse shots in the Solar System forum were tripod-mounted.
