Hi all,

a few days ago I was reading a PS or tablet thread somewhere on
here and I swear I saw someone mention there was a version of
PS being sold at HN or OW for $99 bundled with a gfx tablet.

I can't, for the life of me, find that post! T
Can anyone point me towards it?
I'm thinking of that for a gift and would also appreciate advice
on if it is a good buy or not. Absolutely no experience with gfx tablets.

thanks in advance,

Steve

no specific reference to tablets, but I remember this thread discussing PS Elements..

If you are serious about using it for Photoshop, then the only one worth considering in the Wacom Intuos.
I use the 6"x4" Intuos3. Its excellent. The Bamboo is more of a novelty toy and the Cintiq is overkill (and very expensive).
Other members may have differing views but I'm giving my opinion on what is best for me.

Thanks Colin,

I should have clarified that I meant just general artwork and
photoshopping of images, not actually using PS as such.
I'm far from affording PS! :)
As a novelty toy though, would it be suitable for my wife to do basic
PC art and craft type print jobs on the PC or would old fashioned
mouse be more control?....as I said...total newbie here

Certainly will.

Edit: Not really a toy, just a very scaled down tablet for the not too serious user.
After you get used to it you may never use the mouse again. I never get sore wrists any more.
