We may need to ship water in from the East
You may have to wait 3hrs longer but at least we are seeing something

Nah, it follows the inverse square law - it's all diminished by at least 1/2 by the time it gets to you.
Hey you don't know a guy called Harry Sambrooks and his wife Sarah do you? Good friend of mine lives over there.

You guys in the east should be bottling up all that rain water and selling it to us in the west.
And the gardens have a rather brownish tinge to them.

Rub it in ..........
No clear nights here for ages, what we did have was hazy or sucker holes, didn't even open the obs once in the last cycle.
However I did mow the grass several times, the fruit trees are bending under the bounty of fruit this year, the water tanks are full, it's going to be a nice balmy 24 degrees today, ideal for working outside.
Water restrictions have eased, the dams are filling up, everywhere I look is a gentle luscious green,
How's the drought:question:

Yep Trevor I agree.... nothing like getting the scope out in ure shorts late arvo...set it up and away you go. I was expecting a good six hours but ended up doing 12...um not that I got any good shots but I was just trying out my new QHY-5 as a guider.
BTW in the second pic..is that a meteorite or an Irridium flare?
The third pic has a meteorite in it!!!! wicked!!!
And yes poor effort on M42......not processed though ....bad focus etc etc
Like I said just testing
